Buying home furnishings is a big decision and we want to thank you
for your trust! We at Wilcox strive to make your purchase a pleasant
experience and will work hard to deliver your order accurately and
on time. For future reference please keep your receipt in this folder
for easy access. Also, our factories produce information hangtags
that will hold valuable information on your recent purchase. Please
save these tags with this pamphlet for your future reference.

Our
Return Policy
You have 30 days in which to make a final decision regarding your
new furniture purchase. During this time if you find that you are
not satisfied with your new furniture purchase you may simply call
and speak with the store manager or assistant manager regarding
your concern. We will exchange or repair to like new condition your
purchase at our discretion. If this is still unsatisfactory, during
the 30 day period, we will refund your purchase. After the 30 day
period we will repair all purchases against factory defects for
a period of one year. Unfortunately we do not have loaner merchandise
available during the repair period.
If you have
paid by check we will process a refund check after a 10 day waiting
period.
This return policy is void if the merchandise has been abused by
the customer.

Warehouse Pickup Information
Before you
arrive to pickup your merchandise please call ahead and verify our
warehouse hours. Generally it will take about 30 to 45 minutes to
load and tie down your order. Our staff will tie down your merchandise
and have you sign what merchandise you have taken from our location.
We CANNOT be held responsible for damaged merchandise once it has
left our premises. Unsafe driving, weather, unloading and accidents
are beyond our control.
Our
warehouse hours are:
Monday 9:00am to 6:00pm Wednesday through Saturday 9:00am to 6:00pm
Closed on Sundays
To allow our employees more time for worship and their family, all
locations are closed on Sundays.

Reporting Damages
In the unlikely
event that you find product that is damaged or damage occurs to
your property, home or business, it must be reported to our Delivery
Manager the moment it occurs while our warehouse staff is there.
No claims will be allowed after the drivers have left your property.

Delivery
You can be
assured that your furniture will be professionally delivered with
exceptional care and placed just where you want it. You will be
contacted by telephone before your delivery to verify your name,
merchandise purchased, address your purchase is to be delivered
to and date of delivery. Due to traffic, weather and other conditions
beyond our control we cannot be sure of a specific time of delivery.
We will, however, be there on your delivery date. You may call our
office during the day to determine approximate time (allow 3 hour
window) where your delivery is scheduled during the day.
It is important that someone in your home over the age of 18 be
present to accept your new furniture. We also can call before delivery
to meet a friend or relative at your residence. If no one is at
home, we will return the furniture to our warehouse and reschedule
your delivery. On C.O.D. deliveries, your purchase must be paid
in full 48 hours before delivery is made. Should you need to reschedule
your delivery please contact our office a minimum of 24 hours before
delivery for further instructions. Please have the area, room or
rooms cleared and ready for our delivery men to place your new furniture.
Wilcox Furniture cannot be responsible and is not liable for moving
personal belongings and furniture that we are not delivering. TO
AVOID A SECOND DELIVERY CHARGE PLEASE ENSURE THAT SOMEONE WILL BE
HOME THE DAY OF THE DELIVERY.

Warranties
All living
room, bedroom, dining room, home entertainment centers, home office
furniture, and occasional tables are warranted to be in showroom
condition when delivered and to be free of “quality”
defects and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase.
As wood is a natural product, “natural imperfections”
such as color variations, pits and knots are common and add to the
overall beauty of the product. As always, we will make every effort
to assure your satisfaction. Warranties do not cover: Damage due
to abuse, misuse or accidents. Any damage or fading caused by sunlight:
water damage, abnormal wear, pilling, or shrinkage of any fabric
is not covered. Warranties do not apply to furniture used for commercial
purposes. Merchandise sold “as is,” or floor samples
are not covered by normal manufacturers warranty.

Our Guardian application was developed to help you maintain the
beauty and value of your furniture investment.
How
does it work? Guardian is a unique formula that actually
increases stain and soil resistance, enhances mill-applied fabric
protection, improves fabric durability and increases fabric clean-ability.
Guardian is a spray-on product that is applied at our store. Guardian
is a safe product that you cannot see or smell. It contains no ozone
depleting chemicals, is safe for the environment, its nontoxic and
hypoallergenic! This unique formula penetrates deep into the FIBERS
to protect fabric from the inside out. Because it “wicks”
during application, it covers all of the material to assure thorough
coverage. It even provides a barrier against the abrasion of dirt
and dust particles, increasing fabric durability! Please ask your
sales person for details!

Comprehensive Warranties - FURNITURE
All living room, bedroom, dining room, home entertainment
centers, home office furniture, and occasional tables can be covered
by extended warranties. All extended warranties start from the date
of your purchase. The extended warranties available extend the coverage
of the normal manufacturer’s warranty.
Guardian
warranties do not cover:
Warranties are not offered and do not apply to furniture used for
commercial purposes. Warranties do not cover abuse or neglect, a
dulling of color or finish over the normal life of the furniture
or stains that have not been reported within five (5) days of the
date that the stain or damage occurs.
What is covered with the Guardian Warranty?
Coverage: Household food & beverage stains,
including but not limited to… Ketchup, Beer, Mustard, Alcoholic
Beverages, Fruit Juices, Soda, Milk & Cocoa, Tea, Wine, Butter,
Popcorn, Sofa Drinks, Coffee, Jelly, Spaghetti Sauce, Pizza, Salsa,
Cake, Baby Food, Ice Cream, plus, Most human bodily fluid stains,
most pet bodily fluid stains, Rips, Tears, Burns, Punctures. (See
Guardian literature for further details.) All Structural components:
Frame, legs, arms and cases are covered against structural defects
such as warping, breakage, season splits, separation of frame components,
joints and springs. On fabrics, separation of seams, zippers, and
early wear through. All fabrics professionally treated by Wilcox
Furniture are covered against all stains resulting from all household
food and beverage products. Metal breakage and bending. Finishes
/ Veneer – Veneer or other wood finishes are covered against
lifting, checking, cracking or peeling. Mirrors are covered against
loss of silvering. All electrical shorts and switch failures. On
foam, you are covered against excessive loss of foam resiliency
to cushions. Items that require warranty service will be repaired
or replaced with items of similar style and equal value at our discretion.

Out-Of-Stock Items
On occasion,
due to conditions beyond our control, some product may be out of
stock. This may be due to a supplier’s shortage of raw materials,
which will cause production delays. We make every effort to forecast
demand, but our best efforts are sometimes incorrect. Therefore,
we will expedite your shipment as soon as these items become available.
For merchandise that has been advertised we will issue a “Rain
Check” unless otherwise specified, to ensure your price and
will call when merchandise is available. We sincerely apologize
for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Special Orders
To place an
order you must apply a non-refundable 20% down payment to your account.
As a general rule, most bedrooms, dining rooms, living rooms, entertainment
centers and recliners take 8 to 4 weeks to arrive. These delivery
times are approximate and are by no means a guaranteed time of arrival.
We appreciate your patience while your order is being filled. Any
appliance or electronic equipment generally take 4 to 2 weeks.

Buying A New Sleep System
Give it time!
Like a new pair of shoes your mattress and box spring must begin
to conform to your body! Every person’s shapes and curves
are different and you must allow time for your sleep system to adapt
to your own shape! Please do yourself a favor by rotating your mattress
each month for the first year and then once per season from then
on! This will allow the materials time to “breathe”
wear more evenly! You will experience body impressions! This is
normal and must occur just like your new shoe conforms to your foot!
Without these small body impressions you wouldn’t be comfortable!
Your new sleep system will give you deeper, more refreshing sleep!

Stain Removal Hints
Blood, catsup,
chocolate, cream/milk, earth, excrement, ice cream, mayonnaise,
mucus/drool, cheese, egg, soy sauce, white glue:
Use a solution of an enzyme cleaner (ERA, Wisk), 1 part to 30 parts
distilled water. Rinse by blotting with distilled water, blot to
remove excess water, then dry quickly.
Berries, coffee,
fruit juice, jam/jelly, soft drinks, candy tea, mixed drinks, wine,
urine:
Use a solution of a mild, non-bleach detergent, 1 part to 30 parts
distilled water. If some remains, use a solution of 1 part white
vinegar to 3 parts distilled water. Blot to remove excess moisture,
then dry quickly.
Crayon, asphalt,
body oil, butter, oil lipstick, make-up, gravy, hair oil, mascara,
shoe polish, shortening, tar, felt-tip pen ink, vaseline:
Use a water-free dry cleaning solvent. May have to repeat procedure
until gone. Dry quickly when stain is removed.
